I’m running because I believe our schools are strongest when the people making decisions are personally invested in their success. As a father of three children in Dearborn Public Schools, including a son with special needs, the decisions made by our Board directly affect my family just as they affect thousands of families across our district.
My involvement started long before I joined the Board. I advocated for greater inclusion for students with special needs, worked alongside community leaders to create more inclusive spaces for families, participated in the district’s strategic planning process, and supported initiatives that strengthened our schools. Since being appointed to the Board, I’ve had the opportunity to turn that advocacy into public service and now serve as Treasurer.
I’m running because I want to continue that work. I want to raise the standard of academic excellence, make sure every student has the resources and support they need, better prepare our students for life after graduation, and strengthen the connection between our schools and the families they serve. For me, this is about making sure we leave our school district stronger for the next generation.

Moving beyond the traditional curriculum, ensuring our students have the critical-thinking capabilities and practical life skills for the demands of the future. We must also modernize our district’s infrastructure while ensuring fiscal responsibility in every budget.
Strengthening relationships between parents, educators, and district leadership to ensure transparent communication, actively involve families in student learning, and build community trust.
